Delete your account
You can delete your account yourself, inside the app, at any time. It takes a few taps and your password (or a code we e-mail you).
Office sign-in (the company app)
- Open Settings.
- Under My profile, tap Delete my account.
- Type your password and the word DELETE, then tap Delete. No password on your sign-in? Tap Send me a code and type the code we e-mail you.
Driver app
- Open Me.
- At the bottom, tap Delete my sign-in.
- Type your password if you have one, and the word DELETE, then tap Delete.
What is deleted
- If you work for a company that keeps using the app: your sign-in, your sessions on every device and your phone's notification address are deleted right away. The company's own records (its loads, invoices and papers) stay with the company.
- If you are the only owner and others still use the company: make one of them an owner first (Settings › Team › Make owner), then delete your sign-in. Or close the whole company.
- If you close the company (an owner can, or it happens when you are the only person in it): every other sign-in is deleted and everyone is signed out at once, and nothing is sent from the company again. Before you close it, the app offers to download your company's records. Your own sign-in is deleted too, unless you tick Keep a sign-in so I can download the records later: then you keep one sign-in that can only download the records, and you can delete it later the same way.
- If you are a driver: your driver-app sign-in and every link to it are deleted and the phone is signed out. Your company is told.
What is kept, and why
We remove sign-ins at once. The company's records are kept for as long as the law requires a carrier to keep them.
- Trucking companies must keep some records by federal rule, for example a driver's qualification file, inspection reports and pay records. Those stay with the company that employs or employed you, for as long as the rule says. Ask that company for a copy, or to delete what it does not have to keep.
- The company's history keeps a line saying who deleted their sign-in and when, so its records still make sense.
